The size of the gun isn't directly an issue with FOV anyway (the fact that us trad FPS players use FOV commands to make the gun take up less of the screen is just a quirk of how things work versus how it should work/be done) it's more fundamentally a problem with how pre-VR games authored their art assets divorced from real scale and just based on how they would look when mapped to a 2d screen. Use the input boxes to enter the values or move the panorama to the limit and click. Set limits on how far right, left, up or down the image can move. Show Limits Selecting this will reveal the settings. I wouldn't be surprised if the VR port doesn't even honor/completely ignores the game's console variable for FOV and just automatically uses the value provided by the hardware SDK. These parameters can limit the viewing area of the panorama how far a user can move upwards, downwards, left and right. In VR, changing the software FOV to something different than the headset's hardware FOV is often a recipe for instant-nausea.
